Advanced optical design

The S496 blue is the systematic further development of the S185, it is based on our new optics design. The device was developed with high fidelity in mind. Thus it features a higher spectral resolution of 4900 spectra per cube. Compared to the spectral range of the Firefleye series the S496 blue is shifted towards smaller wavelengths covering 370-870 nm, which enables analyses in the border region of UV and very short blue light.
